Microsoft officially announced the termination of support for Internet Explorer 11 (June 15, 2022).

With a long history, the IE-based web environment revolving around Windows ecosystem is firmly established in contemporary web environment, with many companies building their web services with IE compatibility in mind. However, the time has come to let go of IE.

According to Microsoft, Edge's IE mode is probably going to be around until 2029 at the least. We see this not as an extension of its life cycle, but a grace period for improving our web compatibility and operational apparatus.
